Mango Sherbet
- 1 medium size mango
- 1 pinch of salt
- 420 ml water
- sugar to taste
- crushed ice
Boil the mango in sufficient water to cover for 5-6 minutes.
Remove and allow to cool under cold running water. Peel off the skin.
Put the water and salt into a blender.
Scrape all the mango flesh away from the stone and add to the blender.
Blend the sherbet until smooth. Pour into glasses, add sugar to taste and add ice.
