375 ml plain soy beverage
1 bag green tea
260 g regular tofu
4 eggs
180 g sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract

Preheat the oven to 180 C.
In a small saucepan, heat the soy beverage over medium-high heat until it is scalding.
Remove from the heat, add the tea bag, and steep for 6 minutes.
Remove the tea bag and discard.
Place the tofu in a food processor and puree until smooth.
Add the eggs and sugar and process.
Add the infused soy milk and the vanilla and process until combined.
Pour the custard into 6 (125 ml) custard cups.
Place the cups in a baking pan and add 2.5 cm boiling water.
Bake until just set, 50 minutes.
Cool the flans, chill and invert onto serving plates. |
