Those who think that skipping breakfast will help them lose weight make a big mistake. As I told you before, calories that were not available for breakfast will need to be there during the day: if not for lunch, then for dinner. This is a mistake because one tends to stay inactive after the last meal. The ingested calories will not be used and eliminated the way they would if available after breakfast, and our body will transform the excess in fat during the day.
The other fact is that an empty stomach at the beginning of the day will not provide the energy necessary to a good body function. At the end of the morning, this lack will be expressed in the form of a hypoglycemia. In principle, our body regulates this small hitch in creating a sort of hyperglycemia, which adds to the one that occurs normally after each meal. There will be a "double hyperglycemia" after lunch. Thus, the insulin emission will be more important and will be rendered in fat storage.
Skipping breakfast does not help lose weight, on the contrary.
